E-Flite Helicopters Review
In the field of radio controlled machines, flying r/c helicopters are
considered to be the hardest to master. Within this category E-Flite helicopters have an unbeatable reputation.
This is one of the most popular electric r/c aircraft brands and is manufactured and distributed by Horizon
Hobby, a US based company.
Beginners usually fly the Eflite 400 which is a medium sized
helicopter with fast response time making it easy to control.
The Blade mCX is suggested for those of you who are keen on flying
indoors. Its diminutive size with arotor span of just 7.5 inches and light flying weight enables you to fly the
helicopter from room to room.
If you want something bigger go for the Blade CX2, which happens to be
the macro-sized version of the mCX. The Eflite Blade CX2 with is coaxial rotors, interference free transmitter and
flight time of ten to fifteen minutes is ideal for outdoor flying, as long as wind speeds are below
10mph.
A step lower from this model is the Blade CX. The difference
between the two being the transmitter, the receiver and canopy. If you buy the Blade CX you can still upgrade to
CX2 with the upgrade kit.
The step up from the CX is the E-Flite Blade CP. This does not have
coaxial rotor but, has a 6 channel transmitter and superior flying speed. In stability and control the Blade CX3 is
hard to match. It has coaxial rotors, 3 in one controls, a heading gyro lock and has two minute light weight S60
super sub-micros allowing for a variety of movements.
E-Flite provides quality products so you can be sure that each piece that you buy has
undergone a factory flight test and most of the aforementioned models are preassembled so just unbox and zip
off.
